Change of mind

Smooth white snow falls,
From the dark night sky.
A girl sits in it and bawls,
And no one knows why.
Street lights flicker,
The girl holds a gun in her hand.
She’s resisting pulling the trigger,
But she knows her heart can not mend.
She whispers “How did I get here?
I’m weak, not strong.
I’m always in fear.
I’m never right, I’m wrong.”
She keeps on trying,
But all she feels is suicidal.
Some call it dying,
Others call it survival.
“One more week,” she thinks,
While getting up off her shaky knees.
No more drinks.
She just has to ask God with a please.
But as the snow is hit with her final tear,
Her death calls.
A loud car engine switches gears.
But it’s too late. Now her red blood falls.

This starts in a sombre mood, which gets only darker. An interesting write, Jade. She brings herself back from the brink of suicide only to get hit by a car. ?. Hope all is okay with you x

Bless you, "Getting better" is good to hear ? x
