Second

Second

A side piece.
It’s what I’ll always be.
The love for myself continues to decrease.
Knowing that no one could love me.

A toy.
When you’re unloved and alone.
Just to bring some peace and joy.
Then when you’re sufficed I'm thrown.

It’s always been this way.
This isn't the first,
But it’s okay.
I’ll make you blessed when I’m cursed.

To see a smile,
On your face.
Hold you tight for a while.
Make your heart race.

In the end I’ll never be first.
I’ll stay here in the shadows.
You know It isn't the worst,
But how long can I keep this act up? I don’t know.
