Chasing Squirrels

Chasing Squirrels

Tossing and turning
trying desperately..
To catch a red squirrel
in my dreams

Clambering
clutching wildly
tree bark under finger nails..
All the while oblivious to my wife's blood curdling screams

I captured
it eventually
even though it took all night..
Wrapping it in several layers of cloth to sheild it's vicious bite

In reality that squirrel
was infact..
My wife's bare naked tit
I'd been pulling at it wildly
and wouldn't let go of it

Waking in the morning
to my wife's look of distain..
Just as well that squirrel was a red one and not grey one
or I'd have been in pain
