Checking In
Having checked in,
washed her hair
and applied
the navy mascara ..
It was time
for her, to catch up
with events
since her last brief
departure ..
And for him,
it was an honour
to stop by
and to savour ..
All those words
she brought with her
and left there, at the table ..
