Cherish

Engaged in the moments of the stars, and the atmosphere around us

Space seems to live, and life seems to care, as we touch the flowers

We smell the scent, the trees give us comfort, and the sky, it smiles

Cherish the time, the flesh on our body, the muscles of the heart, it beats

And we can see the world, we can love, caress, express, and be free

Though not all worlds can believe, not all people can take heed, some even die

But the beginning has beauty, the years bring in song, we cherish the food that we eat

The chocolate, the cream, the pastry, the pasta, the pizza, the burgers and fry

We feast, though some famish, they starve, they know, no other way, they plead

For mercy, that the hunger, will go away, while we give, unto our brother and sister

Let us come together, find an answer, find each other, make us know, we are the same

Cherish these thoughts, long for peace, give a hand, let man stand strong, and children

Live long, for the sake of the creator, for the sake of every living cell, let it be, forever long
