Chris Cornell-story

I have a great story about Chris Cornell- I was stationed in a very bleak and inhospitable town in Washington state..We would always take a boat from Seattle to the ship yard...When we arrived ,Chris was always there with his girlfriend before he was famous with this huge Black leather jacket on (because it was always freezing there) On the back of his jacket in big White letters ::::Soundgarden..Chris would always come up to us and say cheer up it’s not that bad. (we hated the ship yard).Then he would hit us up for boat fare to get back to Seattle..He would say hey man I'm in a group called Soundgarden,,, he would point to the back of his jacket...He would say come see us tonight WE ARE GOING ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP...He would jump on the boat smiling at us and say,, see you tonight. We went to see them two or three times…..He was funny and always cheered us up
