Christmas Day

It's winter and it's beautiful
Everything lightly covered in snow
Getting close to the best day of all
Decorations cover the living room
Including a six foot tree
Oh how can I wait
Till Christmas Day

Santa is almost ready to fly
Around the world delivering toys
Traditions are deeply set
In everyone that celebrates
In their own special way
Oh how can I wait
Till Christmas Day

Christmas Day is upon us
The day of awe and excitement
Young and old combined
We huddle down with our family
Opening presents with joy
I am happy I waited
Till Christmas Day
