ghostly shy lovers
that never got permission to fly

blackness stares beyond the vacant
creased and washed in another suits plan

plastic disciples ,
so many trusted futures
so many smooth round clans

hearts built in the ancient slam of stone
 arms locked in violent decision
guarded quiet walkways
crunching warnings 
buried in searching glance
pointed idol
starved in survival
a corpse of loves forgotten echo
choking voice
staked in carried cross

A  ragged wind
and coloured glass mirror
library.s of married stone
greeted timber
shedding dusty eras
silent regiments, stand over guarded tomb

disused in pile
kicked to find the trust
moved by crucifix in motion
church closed,
nailed and listed
