Circle of Everlasting Peace

Evergreen branches of the divine trees and the pinecone scent of spring

A circle of everlasting peace with flowers and boughs, and fragrant leaves

Berries of holly the leaf of immortality, the stem of cedar with all its strength

No beginning and no end it is eternity a rebirth of the winters shortened days

A sign of a promise of spring, and end with a power or a welcoming begin

This wreath I made with my two hands it lightens up my heart and brings tears

To my eyes of pride and joy for its love of those here and gone with promise

Of a victory of success the power of the candles lay upon it to bring out the sun

The memories it gives of the tired worn hands that shed its light upon the earth

I lay it upon my fathers grave and pray for peace on earth and the generosity

Of life we shared and the giving, the gathering of our loved ones in this season

I hang another wreath upon my door to bring good tide and cheer to all who believe

This circle of everlasting peace may it greet you today and tomorrow with reason
