Clean My Heart

O' Lord, lately my mind has been living 
in a darker place 
Because I allowed myself to let the wrong words in
I just don't want to tarnish our relationship 
Or become too cold to let anyone come through the threshold 
Please let me be whole and renewed 
Take the anger, the grudges, and toxicity from my life
And turn it into light 
That I can use to be kind 
The devil is rebuked from those that he used to hurt me 
I'm a woman of God,
Please father restore my heart 
And slay these evil feelings 
Purge them from me 
So that my heart and soul
are clean.
