The Clock on My Wall

I am so busy, my life keeps spinning, I keep flipping the calendar, wondering what's the matter
Days and nights go by, I can't keep up the pace, not enough caffeine, not enough time
The clock on my wall says it is time, time to get going again, get out of bed, brush my teeth
Get dressed for the day, never enough time to play, study, then work, never enough money
What is to become of the days passed and the years gone by, seasons change and so do I
The clock ticks the seconds, minutes, the hours, then here I go again, the pace, the race
Slow down the time, let us take a break from the hubbub and lay in the water, feel the sand beneath
Let the sun come down, and the rain wash our face and our sins be gone, let the time heal our fears
The clock on my wall, let it crash and brake, fall to pieces, never to repair, live the moment
No more shall the tick tock tick, let the freedom of living be at our feet, ride the times like the stallion
No longer the grandfather clock on a shelf, no medallion
The clock on my wall does'nt exist, no more does it shine
I threw it away in a rubbage ditch, now I am living my life, a holiday
Singing my song, dancing all night under the pavilion
Time is forever, lasting in the movements of the clouds tonight as they drift away in my mind
Stairsteps lead me into an everlasting heaven of time as it softly ticks and dies, it flys away
