sparrowsong16 January 2024, 11:10 Hello K.G... Church right? I know what you mean if it's your only day for a Book... Rocks... Who can roll the longest? Neighborhood game? Hot Cocoa and snacks... I saw pictures and kids were playing in the Street while the neighborhood sat outside watched and chatter... I don't know about when it's real cold... Good time to take a nap? No one is really interested in the good ol' days are they? Great write! Thank you for sharing... sparrowsong Reply
K.G. Munro16 January 2024, 11:43 Hey Sparrow, Basically NYC have decided to close libraries on Sundays as part of their budget cuts. People had less back then but seemed happier, Thank you :) Much love, K.G. Reply
sparrowsong16 January 2024, 12:05 Not friendly protest worthy? No one you can talk to? Are there others who feel the same way? Pray about it whole heartedly... To the one who can open the door no one can close... Reopening is always a possibility... When 2 or more agree... Then wait... Patience right? Â Reply
K.G. Munro16 January 2024, 12:14 People have complained for weeks about budget cuts but it falls on deaf ears. I can't do much since I live in a completely different country. Reply
sparrowsong16 January 2024, 12:45 Oh I see... Hope they can get it worked out... That's really sad... For a lot of people Sunday is a day of prayer as Saturday is the Sabbath... Â Reply
sparrowsong16 January 2024, 13:14 With technology some people may not know what a book feels like if we keep going this way... Say 8 Track we see the reaction... Right? Vinyl is coming back... Say Record... It's what are you talking about? I got that one a lot... Â Reply
K.G. Munro16 January 2024, 13:15 True, although mine is probably going to be VHS tapes and the gameboy color Reply
N.J. Tomcatx16 January 2024, 15:50 A good write--concise & effective in conveying a sense of loss/narrowing options (I can certainly relate). Too bad NYC (my home town) decided to close libraries on Sunday. Reply
K.G. Munro17 January 2024, 00:19 Thank you kindly :) I feel sad for the kids and other students who need the libraries to study and will deprived of that opportunity. Reply

Hey Sparrow,
Basically NYC have decided to close libraries on Sundays as part of their budget cuts.Â
People had less back then but seemed happier,
Thank you :)
Much love,

Then wait...
Patience right?
Â
P.S. What prevents you from having your own?
People have complained for weeks about budget cuts but it falls on deaf ears. I can't do much since I live in a completely different country.
Can you make one?
You set the hours?
Oh I see...
Hope they can get it worked out...
That's really sad...
For a lot of people Sunday is a day of prayer as Saturday is the Sabbath...
Â
I hope so too,
Libraries will always be important :)

Say 8 Track we see the reaction...
Right?
Vinyl is coming back...
Say Record...
It's what are you talking about?
I got that one a lot...
