Colour Dictionary

Turquoise was the colour you got married in,
now our lives where we'd really start to begin,
green transpired when Leo started to paint,
and Tuscan hills blossomed, Mona Lisa faint.

Indigo was when we spent the winter in Greece,
and the oracle told us that we'd be at peace,
aquamarine reminded us of all the places we'd been,
in love forever in magical shades of Paris green.

Violet picked up the whimsical mist in your eyes,
identified a level, transient, where no one really tries,
blue evolved, blew kisses in the darkest shade of night,
when day came, gave an aura of unparalleled white light.

Our rainbow colours sparkled with prismatic bold,
the gods had smiled upon us to show everlasting gold.
