Configuration degregation

Asstounding power,with valiant intensity.
Brush of a hand, meets sizzling chemistry.
Mouthing the dryness, with speech diminished.
Eyes lowered, no sentence finished.
Mumbling wreck,and nervous disposition.
Never be free,of this restrictive condition.
Silent are the words, never being spoken.
Maybe my reality, Is just about broken.
Knowing maybe, I’m not really configured.
To even be somewhat, carefully considered

I can't decide if this poem is about falling in love or suffering in the grips of some borderline personality disorder. In the end, they're probably the same thing!!
They certainly feel the same.
Wonderful poem, Lorna. Very "...carefully considered." The subtle shift in emphasis beautifully captures the contradictions at the core of the subject.
Your reality may well be broken...but it's a beautiful kind of broken!
Lovely!

Thank you for reading my work, you really find the depth to my portrayals :)
I very much enjoy reading your work. Thank you for sharing it. It's not an easy thing; to put your work into the public sphere, particularly something as personal and subjective as poetry.
But what's the point of leaving it to gather dust in old notebooks or in bundles, tied up with ribbon, under our beds?! [Just for the record, I've NEVER done the ribbon thing...too girly!!]
Keep writing. Keep posting.

I wrote this one many moons ago, the leather bound journal is my go to item, ribbons are for decorating gifts ;)
Ribbons ARE for decorating gifts...or for tying to the ends of kites or balloons. Not really sure why THAT image came to me, but...there we are!! ;)
 Yes they are ? ?
Aww...a little balloon! And a little ribbon...or possibly a bow tie...it's kinda hard to tell!?!
I'll be offline for the next few days; the family I'm spending Christmas with probably won't have internet access: so have a lovely Christmas Lorna.
I'll talk to you sometime next week.
