Confused

      Some days you seem so close,
as if you're standing before me.
      The next moment you seem so far,
as if we can't see each other.
      Each day is like a roller coaster, 
with my stomach in knots.
      You stand there looking at me,
yet you don't utter a sound.
      You leave me in confusion,
and my heart torn to shreds.
      Every night with my every dream,
you seem to creep in.
      Every time my eyes see yours,
I forget all my thoughts.
      It's right then and there,
that you that bruise my heart.
      So for this moment in time,
I'll stop thinking.
      Maybe just then,
things won't end up so sad.
