Cornfield of Abandonment

Cornfield of Abandonment

I think
Hell
Is like
Being
In
A cornfield
Miles from
Anyone
ABANDONED

prayers
Being
Screamed
While
Crows
Above
Mocks
The
Echoes
of
Desperate
cries

The soul
mimicking
a small
Child
Who has
Been left
To wander
In wet
pants (  soiled from urination)
Fearful
To what
is to
Come

Yes
I think
Hell
Is an infinite
Cornfield
Where
Communication
To our
Creator
And the
Ones we
love
Ceases....

Sometimes
This poet
Feels
As though
Hell
Is already
Present.....
