Could You Have Forgotten Me

Could You Have Forgotten Me

Miles away, mountains afar, I still think of you, do you think of me, for a little while

Life moves so quickly by, I don't look the same anymore, but I feel the same longing inside

Where did the time of great memories go, where did our sensual love go

Did we just give up, toss everything aside, like an old pair of shoes

Or did our kisses turn to butterflies, and flutter into the sky twilight miles of stars away

It could be, that we just lost interest, nothing new to talk about, like the ink of an old newspaper, just disappeared

Could you have forgotten me, laying with you, laying with me, touching you, touching me

Just like a sad, sad, song, something gone wrong, a part of the past, just couldn't last

I miss you, and some day, I hope to say, I haven't forgotten, could you have forgotten me
