Poem -
Courage Versus Scared
Scared was having a problem,how to face and talk to people,
Upon meetimg with an unknown but friendly alley,
His blood pressure would rise,breathing would hyperventilate,
Can't hear what is being said,but courage was forming in the brain,
"The dragon is made of paper"' it said,
"Give scared a jab in the chest"it said,
"Go on,try it,paper,paper,
Blood pressure lowered,
Stomach muscles relaxed,deep breaths were taken,
Courage kicked scared right in the ass,
And said "Anyone else"?

very good, Barbara....love this allegorical tale, something to put away in the front pocket of the mind, fear can often times create its own 'dragons' but it's good to know that 'Courage kicked scared right in the ass,'....yes, amusing and thoughtful piece of advice, well done....cheers poet, I like D
