Cowboy Without A Name

Riding in from the dusty desert rolling tumble weed
Blowing with the whistling sounds of a ghost town
The saloon doors open as the player piano plays a tune
The tall dark hat worn by the cowboy with no name walks in
The bar tender pours a shot of whiskey leaves the bottleÂ
The stranger who no one knows moves to the end of the bar
Dressed all in black silver spurs and silver studs line his belt
Looking for the killer of his brother
Staring at each dirty rotten face too drunk to remember
He carves his initials on top of the wood casing of the bar
Just waiting for someone to make the first move
See his brother was his twin and whoever knew him would now know him twice
A giant mirror on the wall pictured the killer in the room
As he drew his gun but not quite as soon
The cowboy with no name gave way with two rounds, one in each hand
The guilty shot twice in the chest fell hard to the floorÂ
The barmaid dressed in a red feathered dress screamed
Her lover lay dead in a pool of bloodshedÂ
His gambling partners shaken rolled snake eyes on the dice
No reason for the cowboy to stay as he leaves another ghost shadow
Haunting this place with revenge never to be seen again
If you ever look at the wood case of the bar you will read
Carved initials just no name as he rides back into the dusty desert
We will never know if he is alive or deadÂ
The carving just said RIPÂ
