Where is your home, oh child of the San ?

Scattered lie your seed...indiscriminate, across the promised land.

Children of the earth, - so proclaimed by your Mother's colour...

Close to your breathing roots...yet, disowned by your native brother !

Where do you lay your head to rest, oh weary Khoi ?

Child who once expertly tracked the innermost secrets,

buried in obscurity of your Mama Afrika 's bosom -

Have you sold your undeniable stake to travellers of a foreign sand...,

Trembled you at sophisticated apparel and loud, thunderous metal ?

Where do you stand today as you gaze at your homeland, oh Khoisan ?

Acknowledge your inheritance...,nought acres owned by you-

Instead, you grow your crops and your spawn as a trespasser on another's lawn.

You have even lost your name -, identified as "coloured", for so long -

By comparison - not unlike a multi- used, diminishing pencil or wax crayon !

Oh...,when will you awake, Brown Child of Africa -
