Crystallize
Teardrops crystallize on my lashes as I wander into the cold of night
Walking towards or from something: unsure, I exit the light
Every step pushing me deeper into the stillness of the snowÂ
And every feeling pushing up, bursting out of my soul
Blinded by the pain as it swells from my eyes
Feeling so small as teardrops crystallize
If I begin to feel anything, I feel everything all at once
The stop to a yield and sting of an internal right hook punch
Drowning myself as I tread fast in waters of my mind
Unforgiving, un-forgetting of things I should've left behindÂ
Broken and mangled, on the ground my heart lies
Feeling so small as teardrops crystallizeÂ
Heading back, navigating through familiarityÂ
The teardrops, they melt, but the pain I still see
Searching for relief but the winter disagrees
The teardrops, they melt, but the pain I still see
I breathe slow, inhaling the new and expelling the old
Visible breath fogged as it dissipates into the cold
To be free like the air, quiet and unable to be seen
A life for people carved in sorrow, a life for people like me
Alone in the woods, only echoed by my cries
Feeling so small as teardrops crystallizeÂ
Feeling so small as teardrops crystallize

Hello Kayla...
Welcome to Cosmo!Â
I hope this isn't true...
But, if it is I hope you begin to find the fun side of you...
I was a lot like you...
The road is long and hard all by yourself...
You talk about being alone in the snow...
You may think it's stupid, but sometimes when all you have is you...
Make a snowball and throw it your self...
Play in it, roll in it, Â just begin to play hard...
You may get some snow in your shirt and it will give your skin the chillies, but the best way to become a good friend to yourself is hang out with yourself until you find you laughing at yourself a little more and a little more, until you become your very own best friend...
Then you don't have to try so hard anymore...
You will find yourself feeling better and you may see someone that's sad and you won't quite and your new focus will be to make them smile...
Whenever you feel that sadness coming on do something quick and smile before it can grab hold...
Recognizing is the hard part, because the anatomy of a woman is also very complicated and we go through many changes from teen to our senior citizens discounts...
Hugs...
:)
