Pulse

A reflection-less mirror, because there's nothing left to see

All pigment to stare back has been soaked in bleach

Once stars burning bright, all that's left is the afterglow

A pair of supernova eyes in the final stages of their breech

A look inside, but it's been hollowed out in a nights time

A sullen vessel with depths too deep to reach

A heart once strong beating has no rhythm left to show its life

In need of resuscitation but it's far too late to teach

You kept it beating longer than planned

Go put that pulse in someone else

Forbidding write dealing with deep seated emotion liable to cause a slanted view of surroundings and experiences because of a depressed state. Beautifully handled work showing great promise.

Wishing you all the best ! Take care.  :)
