CUSSED

'Otherwise' springs to mind or maybe one kind,
do you get the feeling you're being left behind?
Remember Ogden said just say yes to everything,
but there are limits to what calmness may bring.

Today was a good day, get them once in a while,
makes a change when sometimes there's a smile,
we are fallible, can't expect continual goodness,
but it's disconcerting if someone doesn't care less.

Onslaught can be debilitating, wearing you down,
of course, maybe it's me but you have the frown,
I'm told I have even karma, flat hand thro' the air,
few like me have the time to just stand and stare. 

Today was a better day, I'm luckier than most,
however, give me some space before I'm a ghost.
