I HAD A LITTLE TALK WITH ME

I HAD A LITTLE TALK WITH ME

I had a little talk with myself
I had to get real hard with me
Maybe I was little impatient
But I couldn't just let it be
I said; Hey, it's time you pulled your weight
It's time you toll the line
Stop all this belly aching
Life's not all roses and whine
You act like your waiting for life
To come knocking at your door
Like it's going to be delivered
Like it's something your waiting for
Wake up and smell the coffee
Life is passing you right by
You have to grab a little living
Because one day, you're going to die
No one knows how much time they have
But I'd suggest you get on board
Because one day when you didn't expect it
You be meeting the Good Lord
So I'm glad we had this little talk
Now get out there and take a chance
Enjoy some living
And get out there and dance
