Dance in the sand happy and free
Feel hidden pleasures your eyes cannot see
Let your dreams come alive, find adventures new
Look into your heart to see the real you

Life is too short to make enemies
Now is the time to make sweet memories
Enjoy the company of a variety of friends
But on no-one should you ever depend

So many reasons, so much rhyme
Here to eternity time after time
Words of advice you will often hear
But are those words wise or should you fear

Dance in the sand, children of mine
As I danced before you in a past time
My joy was watching as you both grew
I cherished each moment I shared with you

Find who you are, go look and see
Don’t wait for another to set you free
I am who I am, who are you?
Do you dream in color or a dull shade of blue?

Dance once again, be free in the sand
Dance with your lover to both understand
And when my dancing is over I need not your tears
For my memory is full of such wonderful years

I will be happy, if you both are too
Go forwards, backwards or round the bend
