Darkness

Darkness

It’s an inverted focus on me

I am blackness and I cannot grasp

Your words

But they are pure

And bright

But too bright for my eyes and ears

To see and hear

I know that it is not there

That’s it’s all in my head

And that darkness is shared

But does that mean that it

Is not real

But I want time alone

But not by myself

To be seen, but not taunted

To be known, but not hated

But that’s fame, right?

The Love of your hate of your things

That people make theirs

Well, have my sorrow

Have my abyss

Leave me with light

And I will miss

The only vein without a scar

Because there I belong, amongst the stars.

Next to the moon

Amid those like me

Ones who shine

Only in darkness.
