THE DAUGHTERS:
Ancient priestesses with insatiate hearts
Demanding more by practicing the Arts of Love
To such a degree that the men were falling on
Bended knee to be taken into the temple’s depth
To experience the unraveling of narrow labyrinths!
Wildly they worship, thrusting deep, to reach
The height of heights to honor
The Lady
The Beauty
and Goddess
Aphrodite!
THE RITES:
Tis “Desire” which lured them to undulating dances
Amidst fluttering veils, teasing glimpses and bold glances
At the treasure they wanted to partake and invade, thus
Haply unleashing their bodies to touch what they could see,
“Passion” became their nemesis and they were set free!
As they lay naked and supine on feathered pillows
Lazily listening to the harps’ melody wafting through willows.
Her words birth gluttony for lingering moments of soft
Holdings, salacious and delicious mouthings and moldings!
Full pockets are emptied and money spent on sexual delights;
The rites and oblations performed by those trained to excite!
Frenzied pleasures breathe echoes from perfumed beds and resound
As celebrants are anointed by Daughters of Great Renown!

I am working on a new book which will be completely erotic poetry…my previous book was romantic poetry. I will be reading some of my poetry on the radio in the coming weeks.
