Daylight

Daylight

As the first daylight hours peaked,
Nothing could be seen of the wandering sheep.
No sound from the thundering herd,
As daylight quenched the morning's thirst.

Only laughter of the joyous children's play,
Beheld the ears of those that day.
The jackals of the night before,
Had gone away and were seen no more.

How could the sky be so blue?
But one man knew the answer, true.
The answers to the questions were:
God's good grace,
 Brought peace to the Earth.
