The Flame

The Flame

The speaker is The Flame,
It speaks the truth,
It robs the old,
Of the youth.

It takes the place,
Of Dad and Mum,
It makes us race,
To and from.

In grace we lack,
But the trust we'll find,
When you and I,
Are of one mind.

And we'll race along,
At breakneck speed,
Towards the Hall,
Of Eternity.
