Deafening

The dark sits alone,
It surrounds her face,
The silence is deafening.

Only the trickling sound of a blue tear,
Falls down, breaking the mirror.
The reflection of her shadow, once vibrant and alive,
Now washed away with the tide. 

She has gone, but the dark lingers on. 
The dark sits alone,
Transforming hearts into stone.
