Dealing With It .. . . . ..

My wife has lung cancer, we have to deal with it,
we'll do whatever's required, remove it bit by bit;
you think that it will never really happen to you,
but it might and then won't be cocky in the queue. 

Images flash before you when having the bad news,
you think about all the wonderful things you may lose;
we pray, you may not believe, tell us what you perceive,
tell us and we may do everything to cure all that's new.

You think of the near future, hoping it will all be okay,
no guarantee, try not to be maudlin, God will have his say;
God will renew, regenerate, take away all of the pain,
to ensure that we don't have to go thro' all of this again.

I appeal to you all to just pray for my lovley wife Anne,
because with all of your great help, to heal, I know she can.
