Dear Helen Coats

Dear Helen Coats

Dear Helen,

I have missed you greatly.

I've thought about you immensely.

This poem is like a message in a bottle.

Your finding it is nearly impossible.

How ya been all these years?

Hope life hasn’t brought you many tears.

How are the kids?

Hope their adult lives haven’t been on the skids.

How did your plans work out?

Hope your faith hasn’t been in doubt.

How are your dreams?

Hope they weren’t destroyed by evil schemes.

How is your health?

Hope you’ve been given favor and wealth.

How did your search go for true love?

Hope God blessed you with a soul mate from above.

How did your career endeavors unfold?

Hope they turned out better then your initial thoughts foretold.

How is the rest of your family?

Hope you still have enjoyment with them plenty.

I hope to see you again.

We can stay up all night playing cards and chattin’.

I’m waitin’ on you my dear friend.

My loyal friendship to you I still extend.

Hello Cactus Woman, this is a very good write of positivity and hopefulness to a dear friend that you care deeply for. It is unfortunate and I like that line that finding this poem is like finding a message in a bottle, and what a shame because Helen deserves to read these words. I give this stars and a smile, great job.
