Death

I lay here thinking about one thing. Death is the only thing on my mind. Nothing else enters the mind. Just the thought of death is present. I can't escape the thought. Find ways to distract myself but that itself is hard. It's a hard time when someone your close to passes away and all you see around you is sadness. You feel lost and isolated because it take it tole on you. The only thing you can do is watch people tears fall. It's the only thing you see. You can feel their sadness and despair. The only thing you have left are the memories you have of that person.  Them memories can be happy or sad. Either way you still have them memories. They last for a very long time but the sad point is that that's the only thing person  can truly keep for themselves. That's what lives on and stays with the person.
