Death Poem of a Samurai

I am a Samurai without a master, my body is becoming cold
My mind has been fooled too long, the heart of blood thrown at the stone
My warrior faith has now worn, my horse is not to blame, though my sword I claim
The death of my forefathers, I look up to the mountains, now, the moon is watching, it is time
Time for a Lunar New Year, without my hand, for my sword bleeds deep within
My heart, I give in death, to my country, I give my life
