Demons

Demons

During the day, but namely night
I find it hard to fight
I pick up the pieces that have been scattered today
And I have absolutely nothing left to say

When I attempt to pray, my bones ache
Knowing my soul isn't one to take
If I told you, you blood is poison
Would you think that I'm just one of the voices

That ransack your thoughts, every single second
They use your brain as a weapon
But if you take some time
And search throughout your mind

You'll find the slightest empathy
It sounds as the sweetest melody
And if you ignore the voices
You can finally make your own choices
