DESERTED STREETS

Deserted streets on a beautiful spring day
Gets harder to understand I have to say 
No colours on the trees can I see
For indoors is where I have to be 

Deserted streets are upsetting for sure 
Wish for normality to return once more 
Where people go about their routine 
For being indoors no people have I seen 

Deserted streets in every town or city 
Is kinda scary and certainly isn't pretty 
One day they will return to former glories 
From indoors now they tell horrible stories
