The Devil Hides Inside

The Devil Hides Inside

Jack-O-Lantern they call him as his soul escaping in the night

We light up our lanterns in his memory, hoping our dead rise to delight

Fill our hearts with contempt, no longer just a spirit in the graveyard

Calling out your names, one by one, a solitude field of death now simblings sing

Sing to their loved ones while the devil hides in the hollow of the tree

A cross carved on it to keep him from harming you or me

As we feast on the night and give grant a parade of existance with you by my side

All sins are forgiven, every man standing tall in the shadows of the night the haunting will bring

We will dance in the streets and every endeavor we meet the bones crumble back to nothing

As the devil hides inside
