Distant

I started to realize how distant you were,
I trusted you with so much,
It really hurt, you fading away
I think it would've been easier if you would've just left,
If you would've just cut me out of your life,
Because I wouldn't have had the pain of you pulling slowly away,
It wouldn't have been the aching pain in my heart,
It would've been a stabbing pain,
But it would've been temporary,
Whilst I've been dealing with this aching for months now.
