dog bite

dog bite

If you live in the Caribbean islands
Then you will know what I say is true
that The dogs does be free in the yard
And run out in the road to bite you

But the only way you will get bite
Is if they come on you unexpected
And if you get bite you have to go
to get injection in case you get infected

And sometimes you lucky to get way
When the owner yells at the dog to stop
But some dogs keep on coming for you
Like if you looking like a meat shop

And when a dog bite you in the Caribbean
You can’t sue any one for that
If you go to the police station to make a report
They will laugh in your face out flat

In America people are responsible for their pets
And it must be on a leash at all time
And if it gets away and bite any one
You can sue them for its crime

Some Women treat their pets with love
Better than their husband or boyfriend
And if the men only complain
Then the relationship will come to an end

The pets could mess up on the carpet
And then jump and sleep on her bed
And if the men only say one word
She sends him to sleep on the couch instead

But in the Caribbean the pets live in the yard
And only gets whats left over to eat
So it don’t take a genius to know why
A dog looks at you and sees a piece of meat

Some times you going out with your bike
you just riding casually down the street
All of a sudden you hear dogs barking
And running you down to bite your feet

I remember that happen to me one time
And I fall down straight inside a drain
My elbows and knees was so bruise up
I couldn’t go riding for along time again

Yesterday I went up to San Fernando
To but some hot doubles to eat
Then I was going home to watch some TV
So I was walking back down the 2nd street

Then I saw the neighbor big dog outside
He ran out from the back yard
He was standing there looking at me
Then he start barking like he was going mad

And he was coming straight at me
He didn't take me out his his sight
So I start to run so fast
I didn't want to get a dog bite

The thing about the streets in Trinidad
In the grass it always has big stones
And I don’t really want to pelt the dog
Because you could easily break his bones

The dog situations in the Caribbean
Change a lot in today’s Caribbean community
Because of the crimes that is taking place now
Dog are kept in the yard to protect their property

But not every one yards are fence around
So some dogs still roam the streets freely
In 2nd street ste Madeleine the bad dogs
All live by our late good friend chadee
