Cosmo, back in the day, used to be buzzing — always! Poets posted and a great many hung out around the pages and there were comments and banter. There was always someone around — but lately there are times when it feels a pretty lonely place, poems go up but no many hang around anymore. But when it is like this it doesn't make you want to stay long. I am going to stick my neck out and say we are here for the poetry and art but ALSO for the friendships forged. The best bit about Cosmo is the chatting with friends over their masterpieces x
I couldn't agree more, I've noticed a big difference just in the last 2 years buy I still enjoy it regardless, I think there's a certain level of ACCEPTANCE that comes with publicly displaying your work especially when you use poetry as self therapy like I do. I'll admit I can be lazy at times but there always seems to be a core group of reliable poets on here and I consider you to be one of them Tina, so a special thanks for always being so supportive ❤Rob
I must agree with Tina Rob, I think she says it all really. It’s sad people post and run, not bothering to comment on people’s poems. It does make it all feel tiresome for those who do try and be inclusive on Cosmo. But at the same time those of us who do interact, make great friendships on here. I love talking about poetry. I hope Cosmo picks up in the future. I hope the poetic spark returns for you, you are such a good writer x
I agree Gwen, I must say that in life I'm come to realize you just need to focus on what you can help and I think you are one of the best poet friends a guy or gal could ask for. You wrote superb poetry , you leave remarkable comments and give great insight and make anybody around you a better person with inspiration and support, so thank you for being YOU. xo Rob
Awe Rob I get a lot back from Cosmo and truly feel thankful to of found such a friendly and poetically charged site. I joined just as Covid kicked off. Me and my boy haven’t seen another person for over two years now. Feels crazy but my family love abroad. So Cosmo and its many actively interactive people have really helped keep me sane and going. So really the thanks is mine. Thanks for always writing poetry that makes my cogs turn. It has always been a delight to read you Rob, I am so happy you can sense my love for poetry, it has been my saviour over the many years x :)
