DON'T PITY THOSE

DON'T PITY THOSE

Don’t pity those who cannot walk
They don’t need legs to think or talk
Don’t pass them by, stare, or ignore
For inside they have strength to cure

Don’t pity those who cannot hear
They don’t need sound to live or care
Don’t only see their disability
For they are still people like you or me

Don’t pity those who cannot move
They don’t need motion just to prove
In this life they’re in a bind
If they can live why should we mind?

These people have one common ground
They have hope inside that’s rarely found
Like us they love, laugh, cry and hate
From them, we can learn it’s never too late...
