Don’t steal my shovel

Don’t steal my shovel
It is sacred to me
Don’t steal my shovel
Or the tears will be in my eyes
The skies are blue hear my
Cries if my shovel is gone
It is my life my job to dig
It can be a big day in what I find
So be kind and don’t steal my shovel
It is the world to me
I take it home after i roam
The world with it I put it in a dome
Where it will be safe
Don’t steal my shovel

I sent this phone to time team
I don’t know if they like it I haven’t heard from them no I’m thinking about writing another one called the journey of shovel
this is very original and made me chuckle Greg .. for some reason, it reminded me of Trigger's broom sketch in the British TV series Only Fools & Horses :)
Thank you Neville
that sounds like a funny show
i’ll have to look it up and watch it
Nice one Greg and just the comedy tonic needed.
I read Neville's comment and he is bang on the money in what he says and you won't be disappointed either.
It like your poem is more than a good show.
Thanks Greg and it is good to read you once more my friend.
And I wish you well and shall catch a few more now and tomorrow night as well.
thank you Shaun
