Don,t pretend to be someone your not

What,s the point of that?

No-one, will ever know , who you are?

& you,ll look like such a pratt!

If, you can,t be who you are

& if ya don,t mean, what you say ?

Ya, may as well wear a mask

As you go about your day

The word,s you say misread

Get jumbled, in your head

Misunderstood, under that hood

If ya can,t tell the truth?

Say , nothing at all

Because, you.ll make other

People feel very small!

If your action,s, don,t match

The word,s from your mouth

Ya might mean north

But , say it,s south

If ya like someone

& you,ve told them so...

Don,t just stop

When, you mean go

No-one will know , how to take you

They may, get very confused?

Put them straight

If they are ya mate?

If,, ya meant "what you said"?

In the first place?

It wouldn,t be an issue

But, now my head,s

As messed up as your,s!

If your straight down the line?

You,ll find , it,s just fine

Why say yes

When, you mean no?

Why say love 

When you mean lust

Impossible.... you are to trust!

The person ya thought you knew

Don,t , even know themselves

Or what they really want

Tell the truth, be upfront

Life,s hard enough

Without all this stuff !
