Dragon War

Dragon War

The enemy is everywhere his long tail, his sharp claws

His breath is hot, his teeth and tongue a dagger

A horned dragon who flies is a most dreaded deadly predator

Glaring, staring, piercing eyes of an evil green

His voice a snarling raging violent scream

My only defense is the cliff, the drift by the sea

When he is not looking, I'll cast a stone, hoping he will race with his fierce forceful paws

War has come tonight, a fright, he hears the sound and comes around

Falling over the cliff his flames fading with his roar

War no more, my enemy hits the rocks, and sinks into the sea

Dragons mighty sword of passion, now I have saved my dear fair maiden

I'll carry her upon my back, my love will not attack

As our castle gets near, our love soars, a dragon war won, my love who I attract

Who am I to her, War Dragon, I've won her love, a love of blind attraction
