"Drugs are Cannibals"

"After all those years,
of trying to kill myself,
with poison,
I have spiritually,
awakened,
and have been Chosen,
to pick apart addiction,
to pick apart my brain,
to find out,
where all the pain came,
from,
and I feel so stupid,
what I found,
in those reasons,
that made me use,
for many seasons.

They all stemmed,
from fear,
and failure from,
a lack of trying,
and that God,
I was denying.

I made walls,
around my heart,
from hurt,
so no one could get in,
except for the Devil,
and sin.
I separated myself,
completely,
from the help of God,
and all nice,
and neatly,
started making,
my entire life,
unmanagable,
but now I've,
discovered,
those drugs were cannibals.

They ate and ate,
out the good parts of me.
They almost claimed me,
entirely.
What was left in my place,
was basically a ghost,
an empty shell,
that was on the pathway,
straight down to Hell,
but God saved me,
and I arrested the disease,
with the help of God,
I'm free,
and my life's work now,
is to wall down,
other addict's prisons,
to change their minds as well,
and their wrong decision."
