Poem -

Drunkness

Daylight starts ending

Darkness is beginning

Wolves start howling

Owls start owling

Night stars shine

Husband way out of line

Glass shattering down

Oh so faraway from town

Woman starts screaming

As bruises start appearing

Night after night

Days take flight

Drunkness overriding the man

Doesn't even remember his name is Dan

He stabs her with a knife

His own loving wife

She falls

Blood dripping down the walls

She lies there for days

Her husband in a haze

Her spirit has flown away

but miserably he's there to stay
