"Dying to Live"

"Let's recount,
the times I died.
I know of which,
two instances apply,
and to speak,
about such things,
feels me,
with a strange,
type of fear,
that I feel confident,
in this reading,
even you can hear.

What I learned,
from both accounts,
is that God had spoken,
and the closer,
to death,
your spirit's awoken.

The Devil tried to attain,
my soul,
while I went through,
tremendous pain,
but God had a plan,
a plan all along,
for me to go those trials,
to make me strong.

Now a spiritual warrior.
I discarded my mask,
that I put on my face,
for every task.

Things are so much better,
without that mask,
and if you want,
God's Help too,
all you have to,
is ask."
