Eastern Rise—not against flesh and blood

Eastern Rise—not against flesh and blood

regimented street lamps  compete with sky’s  plump orb

the roadside unzips  like an ashed-grey skirt   after drinks

cargo-green  grasslands    beckon instinctual   unwinding

as thirsty pair of   my  proboscis    gulps-in   acacia spirits

neurons   yawn   lock-jawed  and  sleepy sinews  shudder

while the soul floats as a tai chi boat in nature’s feng shui

supple sails yielding to horizon’s leisurely enlightenment

pirate flags twisting mudras  in  the dynamic stillness zen

circle  ceremonial exercises  for a day of   martial mastery
