Echoes of Olympus: The Tyrant's Feast
Echoes of Olympus: Chronos Worst Fear
With Uranus fallen, his reign unmade, Cronus rose, where shadows swayed. The Titans gathered, their rule proclaimed, In the Golden Age, the cosmos tamed.
Yet whispers stirred, a prophecy told, Of a child to rise, both fierce and bold. To end his reign, to seize his throne, Cronus trembled, his fear full-blown.
From every cradle, his children he claimed, Their cries of life to silence tamed. One by one, to darkness cast, Swallowed whole, their futures past.
Rhea wept, her heart betrayed, By the king whose love had swayed. Yet in her sorrow, a spark did flare, A mother's defiance, a daring prayer.
Upon Crete's shores, beneath the skies, She hid her son from Cronus's eyes. A child named Zeus, with destiny bound, In a cave where hope and fate were found.
While Cronus feasted on fear and might, The storm of rebellion brewed in the night. For deep in the shadows, the heir would grow, To fulfill the prophecy, to overthrow.
The Titan’s feast, a tyrant’s dread, Would one day see its cycle shed. For even gods, in power vast, Cannot escape their fate at last
