Poem -

An Eighties Night Out

I once thought I was great, a real catch for a bloke

That was so long ago

In the eighties we danced and oh god we smoked

My shoulder pads high, my hair just art

That was so long ago

My night was a play with an afternoon start

I walked in the club feeling ........'I'm dressed to kill'

That was so long ago

I believe, all eyes on me, a gap in the picture to fill

I see many of me, during my night

That was so long ago

Looking back, I'm sure we all looked a sight!
